UB's Aruba $300 + 20 satelite 8-29-05

Not an active poster as you can see (waiting for NFL), but I want to seek the opinion of this board.

Last night after playing for 2 hours this tourni siezed up!! The prize pool was $73,500 of which the top 8 won a $9,000 Aruba WPT touni package for the end of Sept.

The field had be widdled down form 245 players to 94 when the tourni siezed up. They said at that time that they were cancdeling further play and would be "distributing the prize pool based on chip equity". I look in my account this am and all they did was return my entry ($300 =20).

How can they do that? While I wasn't the chip leader at the time I was still in there dispite being card dead. All of the people that were knocked out in the first 2 hours get refunded their entry. Doens't make sense to me?

IMHO UB's servers no long can handle all of the freerollers and freechip players.

well im assuming they are going to run the tourny over again.....had they pd out the money the way they do in a regular tourny then NOBODY would be making the trip to aruba which was what the tourny was all about anyway....i dont see how else they could have done it..
